Forrester is currently looking for an Analyst to focus on research and strategic advice for our customer intelligence clients and our growing group of Forrester Leadership Board members. The ideal candidate has deep experience in multichannel customer analytics, marketing measurement and optimization, and the technologies that support these business functions. The Analyst works as part of a small, high-performance team of other analysts, researchers, and research associates. He or she collaborates with team members in all aspects of the job. He or she:

* Assesses customer analytics and marketing measurement technologies using the Forrester WaveT methodology, our vendor comparison methodology.
* Uncovers best practices in analytics for customer intelligence organizations, including business processes, data governance, predictive analytics, and cross-channel integration.
* Develops and delivers research tailored to the Forrester Leadership Board Customer Intelligence Council.
* Consults with user clients to apply Forrester's research in the context of their specific business environment. The ability to develop and deliver client-facing opportunities is critical to this role.
* Provides presales support via telephone and face-to-face meetings with Forrester prospects as arranged by Forrester's sales and account management teams.
* Establishes an industry presence as an influential thinker, writer, and speaker, building a strong influence with relevant media outlets.
Requirements:
Forrester hires people who are inspired and inspiring. Our people are our product and the source of our intellectual capital, so we welcome and reward intelligence, curiosity, and unconventional thinking. The right candidate has:
* A minimum of five to seven years of experience in customer analytics and scientific marketing methods from the client side, an agency/vendor perspective, or both.
* A strong record of academic achievement: B.A. or B.S. minimum; M.B.A. or M.S. preferred.
* Deep intellectual curiosity about the effect of technology on the marketing landscape and how Customer Intelligence professionals can analyze customer data across channels to predict customer behavior and dramatically improve business results.
* Solid business instincts and a practical understanding of what makes companies tick and how Customer Intelligence professionals operate within large global businesses.
* Superior listening, critical thinking, and writing skills, as well as memorable presentation skills. Analysts are expected to take complex, disparate ideas and distill them into simple, provocative concepts -- and be willing to take a stand on vendors and outcomes.
