So it looks like 88% (at the time of this writing) of us use more memory for our apps that the Droid will allow...I sure am glad I have all that room!
hmmmm....my porn app takes 20 gigs alone
Madden Football takes over 100Mb by itself.
and the point for this is?
Reading comprehension not your strong point?
the point is illustrating the weakness of androids 256 mb limit. Many of the nicer and more popular apps on the iphone are over 100 mb. and myst for instance weighed in at over 500 mb. none of these applications would work on android and none can be ported.
I've got 3.12GB of mobile apps, I don't have them all loaded at the same time though. Myst is 533.4mb by itself, Secret of Monkey Island is 425.7mb Underworlds is 121.4mb and those are just a couple of the largest games but they are all loaded simultaneously. Seems ridiculous to only have internal ROM for app storage.
I'm at 5.25 GB. I know, that's a little high!
I got lots of games and i don't play them all the time. But I could :)
Any different kind of mood I'm in, I got a game app for that :)
I've downloaded a lot of apps, an awful lot. But to be brutally honest, I've only really used the ones supplied by Apple. I've even stopped using "Things", preferring the Apple note app- like a shopping list. Autodesk's Sketchbook gets used an awful lot by my 4 year old daughter, while the only other app I use on a regular basis is either "Around Me" or "Weather Pro", but that's it. I think Apple were right in the first place, the iPhone doesn't really need extra apps. It's a phone, not a computer, really. If Apple do a tablet, I would probably buy that, because I do like their touch interface, but the iPhone's screen is way too small for serious use, and then when you have to take a call, well...
plus all the maps of europe in the tomtom app are like 2 gigs alone! droid sucks nuffZ
I only use 3 windows of the iPhone for the apps, but still more than 2 gigs. Definitely shows the weakness of the Droid.
