Today Apple released the RC build of iOS 17.5, among other OS updates, and the release notes brought word of a valuable enhancement coming to the Apple News app for News+ subscribers.

We’ve known for some time that News+ would be gaining a new game, Quartiles, when iOS 17.5 launched. Now it seems there’s another key feature coming to subscribers.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen celebrities like LeBron James and Daniel Ricciardo walking around with a mysterious Beats speaker that looks a lot like the old Beats Pill+. Apple unveiled its new iPad Pro and iPad Air lineups today, alongside updates to the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. For customers in the UK and other countries across Europe, however, there’s a downside: Apple is no longer including a charger in the box with the new iPad Air and iPad Pro.

Today alongside the introduction of the M4 iPad Pro and new iPad Air 6, Apple has launched a brand new Smart Folio accessory for each device that comes with a small but valuable improvement.
